Odata cu lansarea noilor chipset-uri video GeForce 9800 GTX+, 9800 GT si 9500 GT, NVIDIA a lansat si un nou driver beta. Noul driver GeForce 177.79 adauga aceste noi chipset-uri in baza de date a placilor suportate din seriile GeForce 8, 9 si 200.
