BFG Technologies, Inc a anuntat astazi doua noi placi video, BFG GeForce GTX 260 OC2 si BFG GeForce GTX 260 OCX, care vin overclock-ate din fabrica.

Preturile din Romania pentru placile grafice Nvidia GTX 280 se vor situa intre 2000 si 2500 RON in functie de producator, dotari, overclocking, etc. ... adica mai mult de cei 700$ cat costa Zotac GeForce GTX 280 Amp! Edition (care este overclock-ata din fabrica)
PS: 700$ la cursul valutar de astazi (1$=2,3660RON) inseamna 1656.2RON!!! (... cu alte cuvinte mai mult de 25% adaos comercial in preturile din Romania)

While most computer power supplies pinnacle at 80% efficiency, the BFG ES Series is typically 80% to 85% efficient, which means more power drawn from the outlet is converted to DC power for your computer than many of the other units on the market. In order to achieve certification, the 80 PLUS performance specification requires power supplies in computers and servers to be 80% or greater energy efficient at 20%, 50% and 100% of rated load with a true power factor of 0.9 or greater.
Frequency Conversion Technology
The ES-800 can modulate its operating frequency and emulate a smaller PSU as needed. So while most power supplies are not very efficient at loads less than 20% of their total capability, the ES-800 is 80% efficient at loads as low as 10%.
