OCZ a anuntat seria CORE V2 de SSD-uri care stabilesc noi recorduri de viteza.

Comparativ cu precedenta serie CORE (120-143MB/s citire si 80-93MB/s scriere), SSD-urile CORE V2 sunt disponibile in capacitati pana la 250GB si ofera viteze de 170 MB/s la citire si 98 MB/s la scriere. De asemenea, timpii de acces au fost imbunatatiti, avand valori intre 0.2-0.3ms. O noutate este includerea unui port mini USB ce permite update-ul de firmware al drive-urilor (pentru compatibilitate cu anumite platforme, sau pentru o mai buna performanta).

Drive-urile OCZ Core Series V2 SATA II SSD au o durata medie de viata specificata de 1,5 milioane de ore de functionare si vin cu o garantie de 2 ani de zile.
